Each day I eagerly awaited the mail. We received sympathy cards for weeks. I’d say we got over 50 cards and numerous emails from friends, family, and those whom we did not even know. Throughout this time, we had prayers from our family and friends, friends of friends, churches, ministries and on and on. We were told of a young mother who had twins recently and one of them had died shortly after birth. She had been up all night praying for us the night Curtis was born. God had stirred her heart to pray for us right at the time I was in labor. Wow, isn’t God good!
